Baseball Pro recreates the classic “pitch & bat” arcade games of the 1950s with a modern baseball hitting interface. Features include a novel baseball-hitting interface and automatic pitching mechanism. Players time their swing using a miniature bat to hit the ball onto the playfield; they apply their skill to direct the ball away from the “out” holes, and into the base hit and home run target openings. The ticket signage of the original redemption game has been removed, and “how to play” decals are placed where the ticket readouts are situated on the redemption version. Additionally, where the “big win” readouts are located at the top of the original game, there is only a “top score” readout on the Fun Version (here the best player can point to his Basketball Pro achievement!).
